Kristin Murphy
Originally, I am from Minnesota and went to Spring Lake Park High School. I was involved in many extracurricular organizations and also played volleyball, basketball, and softball. I went to college at Northern Illinois University and studied Sociology and Psychology. I played collegiate rugby and sang in choir while I was there. For graduate school, I attended Robert Morris University in Chicago. I earned my MBA in Management, graduated with a 3.98 GPA and gave the commencement speech. I spent 15 years in Illinois and am excited to be home in Minnesota. I am passionate about helping children learn and succeed. I genuinely love what I do and I believe it is evident in my everyday interactions. I love building relationships with staff, children and families. I use every interaction as an opportunity to be a positive role model but also know when to have fun! I love children and I love KinderCare!

I started working with children when I was 16. It didn't take long before I knew I wanted to work with children. After graduating high school I went to St. Paul Community College and got my A.A.S. Degree in Early Child Development. I started working at KinderCare in October 2006 as a teacher in various classrooms and then became the Assistant Director in May 2015. My husband, Nate and I have two daughters, Annabelle and Aurora. When I am not at work I love spending time with my family and reading.
